At CofiBlocks we build a fair and transparent trade, which values the work of small producers and your passion for coffee, after all, without coffee lovers like you, CofiBlocks wouldn't exist.

What is a Collaborative Business?

A Collaborative Business is a type of organization where customers, producers and other supporters are members, can make decisions, share benefits (monetary and otherwise), and all share responsibility. They are businesses where members share common goals, using blockchain technology, smart contracts and digital assets. We can say that it is an evolution of the concept of cooperative and DAO.

Founders

Omar, Ranulfo and Karla started to savor the idea of CofiBlocks, inspired by Omar's life story from his days as a coffee picker to his experience as a coffee tour guide in Poás de Alajuela. Omar knows well the challenges of small producers in the area and Karla and Ranulfo bring their extensive experience in developing impact solutions using blockchain technology.
